Denisse M. Araya Vazquez, MBA, is a professional with more than twenty years of experience in accounting, financial management, and taxation, specializing in nonprofit organizations. She began her career in 2002 as an Accountant at Iniciativa Comunitaria Inc., where she strengthened financial processes, supervised funds, and ensured the organization's fiscal and legal compliance.

Since 2013, she has served as Director of Finance, leading the planning and oversight of financial operations while promoting transparency and institutional sustainability. In addition, she has maintained a private practice for 18 years, providing accounting and tax advisory services to nonprofit organizations and private companies, applying her expertise to optimize resource use and support the sustainable development of community programs and projects.

She holds an MBA in Accounting from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico.
